Millwood Public Schools is closed until April 6th.

Dear Millwood Families,
Millwood Public Schools is closely monitoring the developing news related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are committed to following the guidelines and recommendations of our federal, state and local governments and will always exercise an abundance of caution when it comes to the health and safety of our students and staff. As information continues to be released, we will continue to stay informed and act accordingly.

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, CDC always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:
· Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
· Stay home when you are sick.
· Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
· Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
· Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
· Stay informed – Regularly monitor information coming from the CDC https: and from the local health department.
As we approach Spring Break, please take appropriate precautions to remain healthy. Also, please see attached guidelines form State Superintendent Joy Hofemeister regarding Spring Break travel.
Students are slated to return on April 6th, if there are any changes, we will notify you.
Have a good break and be safe!
Superintendent Robinson-Woods
