Millwood School-Based Health Clinic is excited to host a free “All Sports Physical Clinic” for our students. The Clinic will be held tomorrow from 9 am to 4 pm. To ensure a smooth process, students are required to pick up the sports physical and Consent for Treatment/Services forms from their coach or the front office. These forms must be signed by the parent/guardian to participate in the sports physical clinic.

Thursday, August 15th will be our Falcon Family Fly-In! Help us reach our goal of meeting with 100% of our parents and get our school year kicked off with success! Families will be able to visit the school during these times: 8:30 - 11:30 12:30 - 3:30 5:30 - 8:30 We will also have Freshman Orientation from 9:00 - 10:30. This meeting will be mandatory for all incoming Freshman!

Falcons Families, tomorrow, August 6, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Millwood High School, Ward 7 Councilwoman Nikki Nice invites you to a community meeting to learn about possibly creating new Tax Increment Financing (TIF) districts in and around the Adventure District. Attendees can also hear about upcoming City projects and engage with partner agencies. TIF is an economic tool used by cities around the world to promote development. TIF allows cities to use a portion of property taxes generated within the district as incentive for private investment and infrastructure to support development. The map attached depicts six potential districts. TIF districts are active for a period of 25 years, and the six districts would allow for activation to occur at separate times to align with planned development within each district.

Good evening Arts Academy Parents and Guardians, We are 20 days away from the start of school. We are currently in the process of ordering Arts Academy Shirts. While we have a select inventory in the building, we will be sending an order in for your sizes. please utilize the link below to order uniform shirts. A payment link is provided below. To ensure a smooth process, students are required to pick up the sports physical and Consent for Treatment/Services forms from their coach or the front office. These forms, filled out by the student and signed by the parent/guardian, are required to participate in the sports physical clinic.

Greetings MELA family! We are one week away from our Talons Out MELA basketball camp! A couple quick reminders: Dates- Monday, June 3rd- Thursday, June 6th Time: 8am-12:30pm Breakfast and Lunch included Registration is due on the first day of camp (NO EXCEPTIONS) If your student is participating in KIDVATION, they are still able to participate and I will release them at lunch to finish the remainder of their day there and/or participate on field trips. Congratulations Seniors! The Millwood High School Graduation is tonight at 6:30 pm at L.W. Goode Stadium. As of now, the start time will be as planned. We are actively monitoring tonight's weather and will send updates as needed.
